What are Fugitive Adhesives?
A fugitive adhesive is a type of glue that is generally used to stick printed material onto another print material, as in the case of brochures that come with the company representative's calling card; where the calling card may be attached to the brochure with some form of glue. It is for this reason that a fugitive adhesive is also sometimes called graphic art glue. This may be in the form of hot melt adhesive, or latex glue.
In the case of our fugitive adhesives, our currently-available products under this category are latex-based glues.
Selection
When you browse through our website, you will notice that our products are arranged in codenames, instead of the usual long product names that you may come across on the Internet, or anywhere else for that matter. You will find that our selection of fugitive adhesive products are identified by specific codes: from FA-1 to FA-4. Our products pages include a brief description for each one under a specific category. For fugitive adhesives, general description for FA-1 is that this is a type of graphic art glue designed for application by hand. Formulated with modified latex, this water-based graphic art glue is designed to set immediately when you apply pressure on the glued material. It can be used on most paper print stocks.
Products FA-2 to FA-4 are formulated to be thicker than others. For instance, FA-2 is thicker than FA-1 and so on, but all with the same adhesion quality.
